Preseason Requirements

So you’ve volunteered to manage an ice hockey team and now you don’t know what to do first. Don’t worry, the Monsters are here to help. In just a few steps, we’ll get your account setup and ready for the season.

Once you create your StatMonsters account, you’ll be able to access your dashboard immediately. From there you can add your team contacts and player information.

Step 1 – Create an Account

Tap Team Managers in the main menu above or simply click here.

If you managed a team last year, use your account from last year to login otherwise tap the Create an Account button to create an account.

Fill out the new account form, and then tap the Create your StatMonsters account button. In a minute or so, you’ll receive an activation email. If you don’t receive that email, check your SPAM folder. If you don’t receive the notification email, drop us a note at info@statmonsters.com and we will activate your account for you. You can’t login until your account is activated.

Once your account is activated, tap Team Managers from the top menu again or simply click here and log in to view your Team Manager Dashboard.

Step 2 – Select Your Team

Choose your team from the dropdown menu in the Getting Started.

Step 3 – Upload USAH 1T

It’s time to upload your official USA Hockey 1T provided to you by your Club Registrar. From your dashboard, click Teams. Select your team by clicking the edit icon on the far left. Scroll down to the box labeled USAH Official 1T Link and copy and paste your link there. Be sure to tap the Save button to record your information.

Step 4 – Create Contacts

Click Contacts on your Dashboard. You’ll see that your CCHL Club Rep has added you as the Team Manager. Now, add your team contacts including all of your coaches and locker room monitors. All adults that will be interacting with the kids will need to be listed under your contacts so that your league can verify their SafeSport status.

Once you have added your contacts for your team (or teams if you have more than one), return to your Team Manager Dashboard by clicking the Dashboard button in the main menu.

Step 5 – Add Players

With your USAH IT in hand, click Players on your Dashboard. Then tap Add New Player and enter player information including Name, USAH number and Jersey number. If you have more players, click Save & Add Another or simply click Save when your information is complete. Your USAH 1T needs to match your team roster.

Come back and make changes anytime by clicking Players on your dashboard, then use the edit icon on the far left. Be sure to hit the Save button to record your information. Return to your dashboard by clicking the Dashboard button in the main menu.

Regular Season Requirements

It’s game time. After each game, if you are managing the home team, you will need to enter the game results and submit a signed copy of the official scoresheet within 48 hours.

You can do this from your PC at home if you have a scanner, or better yet—snap a photo of the scoresheet with your mobile device and upload the scoresheet before you even leave the rink. This tutorial will walk you through the process.

Step 1 – Log into your account

Tap Team Managers in the main menu above or simply click here.

Step 2 – Select Your Team

Choose your team from the dropdown menu in the Getting Started. If you manage more than one team, be sure to choose the right team before you proceed.

Step 3 – Submit Game Results

Take a picture of your scoresheet with your phone to save a step later.

Now, tap the Submit Games icon on your dashboard. Select the game you’re entering results for. Review and confirm any Game Flag questions that are applicable.

Enter Goals For (GF) and Goals Against (GA) for the Home Team by period. The Away Team scores are automatically populated.

Enter Penalty Minutes (PIMS) for the Home Team AND Away Team.

Be sure to scroll down and tap Submit to save your information. You’ll be asked then if you’d like to upload a scoresheet. Click YES.

Step 4 – Upload Scoresheet

Tap Choose File, select a file from your computer or from your photos on your mobile device. You can upload a PNG, JPG or a PDF.

Tap Save to upload the file.

Your scoresheet is now available to the registrars for your league. They can review the scoresheets and process them accordingly. If they need anything further from you, they will reach out to you directly.
